Da Nang aligns talent supply with demand in semiconductor

Da Nang is rolling out a plan to develop its semiconductor industry, focusing on aligning talent supply with industry demand. The city is working to build a skilled workforce while partnering with major businesses at home and abroad to create a complete ecosystem for semiconductors and artificial intelligence.

This factory, located in Da Nang High-Tech Park, has an initial investment of 28 million USD. The facility is seeking highly skilled engineers in electronics and semiconductor circuits, as well as specialized labor for large-scale production.

Da Nang has set a goal of becoming one of Vietnam’s top three semiconductor hubs by 2030. To that end, the city is focusing on developing a highly skilled workforce and a robust semiconductor ecosystem. Universities join hands with industry to design relevant training programs, while international standards will guide the training of instructors.

To align supply and demand in the semiconductor industry, Da Nang is offering incentives for students and experts, including support for training costs and various allowances.
